What our Clients are Saying
,-
The Open Door Group at the Work BC office provided me with a rewarding experience through the Jobs in Demand program. It helped me update my certificates and improve my employability in the hospitality/customer service industry, which was perfect for someone with over 30 years of customer service experience like me. The support provided by the instructors was constant and reliable, and their expectations were clear and fair throughout the process, starting from the entry interview. The screening process showed their dedication to success. I highly recommend this program to anyone interested in self-improvement or looking to expand into the hospitality industry
, MB, participant at Kamloops -
Jobs on Demand was a life-changing experience for me. The program covers a wide range of essential work and life topics, including personality types with the Myers Briggs criteria, which helped me understand myself better and realize my potential despite my age or other perceived limitations. The program helped me develop a sense of purpose by examining my personal values and figuring out where I could be useful to the community. The group dynamics were powerful, and watching each individual get interviews and subsequent employment created momentum for all of us. The program provided valuable credentials, such as first aid and super host, which encouraged meeting people in the employment market. Practice interviews and group feedback were also helpful in keeping us motivated. Our facilitator, Taylore, was excellent, and the information was presented in a calm and accessible way. Overall, it was a very satisfying experience, and I'm now working thanks to Jobs on Demand. Kudos to Jobs on Demand and everyone involved in making it a wonderful program to work with!
